How to reach us: Access to Beckov Castle
The village of Beckov, together with the castle of the same name, is located in the central Považie in the Trenčín region, about 8 km northeast of Nové Mesto nad Váhom
Transport by car and parking
The fastest way to reach the village is on the D1 Bratislava — Žilina highway, from which you will get off at Novi Mesto nad Váhom on the road no. 515 continuing eastwards to Rakolúb.
From there you can take the road no. 507 to Trenčín, which takes you 3 km directly to the village of Beckov.
The silhouette of the castle ruins will be visible from the highway and then throughout the journey to the village. Once you reach Beckov, take the road 507 to the right onto the paved Trinity Square, where you can useavailable parking areas.
Payment for parking
Vending machineis locatedon the way to the castle, next to the parish churchst. Stephen. Thus, the visitor has 4 payment methods to choose from. Via SMS, card payment via QR code and cash payment with coins or payment card through the parking machine.
Payments via SMS are only possible through Slovak mobile operators.
Payment for parking is also possible in cash.
Pedestrian access
Tourists can get to the castle only on foot, for motorized vehicles there is a ban on entry. The pedestrian access begins at the eastern end of the square with the sculpture of the Holy Trinity.

A narrow left-hand road leading past the church of St. Stephen the King cuts into the slope between parts of the Jewish cemetery and takes you on a comfortable climb to the crossroads.
Turning left, you will reach the castle along a paved road.You can walk from the Town Square to the ticket office in about 5 minutes. An asphalt road with barrier-free access leads to the castle.
Hiking and cycling routes
To access the castle you can also use the surroundinghiking and cycling routes.Cyclists can store their bikes at the ticket office, entry to the castle grounds is not allowed.
